Although the first Invitational Tournament is still a few days away, plans have already been announced for its follow-up. The second showdown, “Retribution” will be a boxing format championship. WTI is presenting this event and is now able to lay out the ground rules. Twelve (12) fighters will participate in this event. A Mii character will be created the night of the fight. Contestants will be split into two divisions, A and B. Each person will fight everyone in their respective division for a total of five fights. The fighter with the highest win-loss record will move on to fight the winner of the other division. In the event there are two fighters with the same record at the end of the preliminaries, the person with the highest Pro Level will advance.
Although no official date has been given, the first of September has been tossed around. Invitations will be sent out once the final date has been confirmed.
